Botox

Botox is by far the most popular non-surgical facial anti-aging treatment that will temporarily diminish or erase targeted facial wrinkles and fine lines to restore a youthful look. The active ingredient in this neuromodulator is botulinum neurotoxin type A, which is precisely injected into the wrinkle-causing muscles.

Botox works almost instantly to relax the overactive facial muscles, resulting in a smoother, wrinkle-free skin appearance. We apply Botox in safe quantities using advanced injection techniques to reduce frown lines between the brows and horizontal creases on the forehead.

Kybella

At Motykie Med Spa, we offer Kybella injections to help you get rid of stubborn fullness in the submental area (also called “double chin”). Kybella is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment for double chin reduction. Excess fat accumulation below the chin can be hard to treat without surgery, and difficult to improve with diet or exercise.

Kybella solves this problem with a minimally invasive, in-office injection treatment to remove submental fullness. If a double or triple chin appearance detracting from otherwise youthful face, our experienced injection providers can restore a harmonious and balanced facial look with Kybella.

The treatment session at our medical spa can be completed in about 20 minutes. We may recommend a series of three to four Kybella treatments spaced one month apart, depending on your aesthetic goals.

How does Kybella Work?

The active ingredient in Kybella is a natural molecule called deoxycholic acid, which promotes the disintegration and absorption of your body’s dietary fat. When this powerful ingredient is injected in precise volumes directly into the fatty tissue under your chin, it will disrupt the unhealthy fat cells.

As the fat gradually melts away, you will notice dramatic improvements in your chin contour with just three to four Kybella treatments. Kybella injections are tiny, and will cause minimal to no discomfort or downtime. The results with this unique injection treatment are permanent in the sense that the fat cells once eliminated from beneath the chin will not re-grow in the same location.

PRFM Injections

PRP is converted to PRFM (Platelet-rich Fibrin Matrix) through a controlled process, creating a scaffold that serves to protect and preserve platelets. Think of PRFM as the next generation of PRP injections designed to release a variety of growth factors that respond to tissue injury, where they then initiate and promote the body’s natural capacity for healing.

PRP Hair Restoration

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) may be able to reactivate unproductive hair follicles and enable you to regrow your own, natural hair! Most patients will begin to see thicker, fuller hair in as little as two months after the initial treatment, although the best results are usually visible within 4 to 8 months and may continue to improve for up to a year.
